Friday the team team departs for Nashville, TN to finish the regular season and tackle the Conferene Championships. All 6 riders going will be racing in the A races in an attempt to qualify for Nationals. Here is the schedule of events:
Saturday:
9:00 am - Men's A Road Race (75 miles/4 laps)
9:05 am - Women's A Road Race (57 miles/3 laps)
3:00 pm - Team Time Trial (11.4 miles)
Sunday:
11:10 am - Women's A Criterium (55 minutes + 3 laps)
12:15 pm - Men's A Criterium (65 minutes + 3 laps)
Should be a fun weekend! That being said, the new points totals as of Lees-McRae have just been posted and things are looking good for Furman.
Overall Division II:
Furman - 1295
Cumberland - 1018
Vanderbilt - 896
A's Only:
Furman - 1061
Cumberland- 1018
Vanderbilt - 300
Furman is sitting in a good position to win conference, especially considering that the road race and criterium are worth double points! Have at it Furman!
